Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her roles as a lead actress in many television series but also her impressive performances in films. The actress is well-known on Canadian as well as American television. Emily began acting at the age of 12 after visiting her older sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials, and then was included in the Canadian children's television show Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? One scene in which she was not even speaking any words. When she was 15years old, Emily had her first big break when she became regular on the WB TV series Glory Days.
